Welcome – we are Paola and David. We bought this house (Villa in Lucca Tuscany) in 2001 and, realizing that it was too big for us, we decided to make it available for guests visiting Lucca and surroundings.

We like travelling and visiting the mountains – but we also love the place where we live – and we know the most beautiful things to visit – but also less well known places.

When we are not travelling, we like travelers to visit us and spend some pleasant hours in the country roads or on the surrounding hills – on foot or on bikes which we make available to our guests. We can also provide you maps and guides to help you with your exploration.

Passions & Mission

We like travelling around the world and finding welcoming places to visit. When we restructured StoneHouse – we hoped to create a place which our Guests from all over the world would find welcoming – and for us it is a great satisfaction when people talk of our house as a “home from home”.

Our house is about 10km from Lucca, famous for the medieval walls which surround it. We are in the countryside, and in Spring and Summer there are lots of flowers in and around our garden.
